MOCHA, Viva Records’ hottest and fast rising girl group has already made a name in the music biz in spite of the tough race for recognition.. With so many groups similar to MOCHA coming out nowadays, they have proven to be one the hardest girls to beat. They can certainly turn everybody in the party mood once they hit the center stage. Their repertoire is a mix of everything from current hits and the best of new wave down to the memorable music of the 70’s. The group consists of five sexy girls that are all equally talented. Talk about beauty and brains, Mocha; the group’s lead singer never fails to impress the audience once she starts moving. She is beautiful, no doubt about that, but it is her rapport with the crowd that usually makes her more appealing.
Completing the group’s line-up up are Hershey, Grace and Bez. Hershey, also known as Mocha’s “Booty shaker”, the "most-loved" member of the group because of her passion and heartfelt dedication to her work. As for the “cheering fanatics”, Grace is certainly the girl to watch.. The youngest in the group, Grace often shows her breathtaking stunts during their regular gigs that often leave men impressed to the bones. Last but not the least is Bez, a former member of SOP’s dance group who loves ballroom dancing. She dances like Jennifer Lopez and confessed of feeling hypnotized once she hits the dance floor.
What really separates MOCHA from the rest is their versatility. They cater to a much wider market as compared to other girl groups who have limited talents to show. MOCHA has also appeared in numerous TV shows and has received nothing but good feedbacks. Their carrier hit “PATCHA” ruled the airwaves for a couple of months not only in Manila but in other parts of the country as well. Proof to their popularity, MOCHA recently performed as front act in Earth, Wind and Fire’s concerts in the country. Also, invitations from top corporations continue to come in as MOCHA”S fame soars even higher.
MOCHA regularly performs at Mugen, Metrowalk on Tuesdays, Bluewave, Macapagal on Wednesdays and at The Hard Rock café in Makati every Friday. Aside from their regular shows, MOCHA also endorses Whitesmile Dental Clinic, Jancen Cosmetic Surgery, Dickies, Vivere Salon, i2i Eyewear and Vitaginseng.
